Ariel started her acting career in the early years of her life. Ariel was featured in a Cool Whip ad when she was only six. In the age of seven Ariel landed her first TV appearance in an episode of CBS's popular sitcom, Listen Up! Her subsequent roles included Monk Bones, ER and various other television shows. In 2007, she was cast as Gretchen in her role on the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. In 2007 she was cast in her debut live-action role in the role of Alex Dunphy, on the well-known television show Modern Family. With the cast of Modern Family she received the Screen Actors Guild Award in 4 different years as the the Best ensemble Comedy Series. Ariel is still a voice actor, voicing characters such as ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel has the purple belt from Taekwondo. She's the younger sister to the actors Shanelle Workman and Jimmy Workman. She loves to sing and sings with the band WickedSweet.
